Not many guesses to the first “Three Truths and Lie” entry, but here’s the answer for those of you who may indeed be curious.
- There is not one thoroughbred racetrack or registered polo club in all of Nevada.
- The Sands was the first resort hotel on the Strip.
- I am moving to Las Vegas next month.
- Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the United States.
Number 2 is the lie. The Sands was not the first resort hotel on the Strip, it was El Rancho.
